Irish Lurcher 1,013
Nice markings on her, had she anything yet (bunny) Looks a well built bitch, what you plan to use her on?? Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
shes only caught one rabbit so far, but that doesnt bother me, i'll give her time to mentally mature before i do anything more than 3 or 4 runs a night. (i can count on one hand how many nights she has been out) I really would to love see her hare coursing when shes older, unfortuneatly its now banned. I have an oppurtunity to go to isle of man, but not sure if the laws are the same, or even if there is any hare's on the rock. Quote Link to post
minion 29
Nice looking dog. I think you are bang on though with regards to rushing it. At the end of the day I know it's hard to not go out because you want to work her. I started my lurcher at 71/2 months becasue I was really impatiant. I was fortunate as I didn't work her really hard because she wasn't even fully developed. It will be easier with my next lurcher because I have my older dog to work. Is that a 3/4 Greyhound 1/4 Border Collie you've got? Quote Link to post

collie/grey 238
She's really grown since the last pics RH. Your right to not rush her, you've got all the time in the world to start her. Keep up the good work, she's a fine animal. Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
i'll try get somebody to photo her for me, while i hold her to get a full on side view of her. She looks in good form. By september she'll be 16 months old so no doubt ready for a good run Edited February 14, 2007 by Rabbithunter Quote Link to post

When the foot & mouth struck, obviously couldnt go anywhere, my over the period my dad lost interest in the shooting so she is now just used for flushing. Quote Link to post
